We had a wonderful first Mother's Day together as a family! We started the day off walking the Susan G. Komen Twin Cities Race for the Cure with our neighbors. Larkyn was all bundled up for the cool morning we were expecting during the 5K walk. Sunday morning turned out to be gorgeous; all sunshine and very little wind! After the walk, we went out for breakfast with the gang. Larkyn slept right through everything! This year was easy. We are thinking next year could be quite interesting! We spent the rest of the day hanging out, taking a nap together, doing some shopping and grilling out. It was a great first Mother's Day with our new little family!

Larkyn was cooing and all smiles during the day! Being a mother is a wonderful gift from God! I love every minute of being a mom and sharing in all of Larkyn's experiences as she grows.
Larkyn was pooped after the long day and was quite comfy when we were grilling out!
The outfit is great. I hope Shea picked it out! Congratulations on your first Mother's Day.
