Camdyn's Special Day

Today was Camdyn's Special Day at preschool. We were able to join her for the last 30 minutes of her day to bring a special snack and read a book of her choice. Camdyn led the class through calendar. Then she opened up the counting box to find pattern blocks. She sorted them quickly and independently into groups by shape. Then she told us which group had the most and which had the least. With the help of her class counting, Camdyn put the blocks back in the box. There were 21 blocks! Lastly, she got to pick a "treasure" out of the treasure box. She chose a pink bouncy ball! Her last job was to call each friend by name to dismiss them to the table for snack. Camdyn chose applesauce squeezies for the snack to share. After snack, we sat up front with her, and Shea read Clifford's First Halloween, per Camdyn's request. She was a GREAT special person at preschool!

A new look...

Camdyn got her first haircut tonight! (If you don't count the little straggly hairs I cut off when she was a baby!) She was a perfect customer and sat very still for the stylist. She couldn't stop smiling! We ended up taking off 10 inches and we plan to donate her hair to an organization. We needed 12 inches for wigs 4 kids, but 10 should work for Locks of Love.
