Doctor visit at 36 weeks...

We had our 36 week appointment today and things continue to go very well. Baby Mueske is defnitely head down and on track for a mid-March delivery. I am not dialated at this time and 50% effaced. About 4 weeks out, we are enjoying adding to the nursery, getting things slowly together for the hospital stay, and finishing up our baby/parenting class.

Belly Photo Shoot...

We spent some time with Amy and Kathy from Capturing Moments to "capture some moments" of our pregnancy and growing baby! We had a great time and look forward to bringing Baby Mueske back for precious baby pictures in the months to come!

Could it be a St. Patty's Day baby?

Another piece to the puzzle...

Shea and Scott (helpful neighbor) spent some time Friday night hanging up a shelf in the nursery. After picking out the wood and stain together earlier in the week, Shea did the rest...with the help of Scott and his tools:)

The furniture has arrived...

We finally received our furniture after 6 LONG awaited weeks (it definitely seemed a lot longer)! The nursery is finally coming together! The walls are still bare, but Shea is working on making a shelf to hang above the dresser. Once we know our little one's name, we'll hang up wooden letters over the crib. We also enjoyed doing "baby laundry" as we folded up onesies, socks, burp clothes, and blankets to begin filling the dresser drawers.

I proved to myself today that anything is possible if I just put my mind to it! I have been looking for someone to cover our glider and ottoman for a couple months now and have had no luck! I knew I could probably do it, but still haven't diagnosed the problem on my sewing machine which still doesn't work! So anyway, after 6+ hours of cutting fabric, hand-sewing, and creating little hooks, the project is finished! Never doubt Mama Mueske:)

Shower of Love on Baby Mueske

This past weekend Baby Mueske was celebrated again with another wonderful shower. The shower was put on by Shea's family and friends; Megan, Guen, and Betsy. We enjoyed a great brunch, conversation, and cake. We were blessed with wonderful gifts for the preparation of Baby Mueske and much more!

Great Grandma Sis and cousin Breally were able to attend the shower!

We received fabulous books to add to our nightly reading and the baby's collection!

"When God made me he was showing off!"

We received a pack n' play from Marcia and Catherine.

Baby Mueske was showered with many more fabulous gifts!

The food was delicious and the cake turned out great!

Boy or Girl? Betsy made her famous cookies for everyone.

Shea was able to sneak in at the end to see everyone!

Our first shower

The Kindergarten team and Diamond Path Staff helped us celebrate the coming of Baby Mueske with a baby shower at school. The "mini" and "little" themed shower was a great time surrounded by wonderful people. Baby Mueske received some fabulous gifts that will be put to great use very soon.

We love all of the books we have received thus far! We have enjoyed reading together to our little one before bed.

My team thought "Mama Mueske" needed some treats!

Shea looks pretty excited about the video monitor. What a proud Dad-to-be!

Slowly coming together...

We are still waiting on the arrival of the baby furniture (hopefully will be here by next week), but have received our bedding. We are so excited to get things together we wanted to get the curtain rod and valance up so we could see how the colors brighten up the nursery.
