Pumpkin Festival...

This morning we went to Gerten's for their annual Pumpkin Festival.  They have many fun activities for kids every Saturday in October.  Larkyn and I took my cousins Nicole and Holly last year and had a great time.  This year Larkyn was at a great age for many of the activities.  She was really excited about the "Pumkin Fest" and talked most of the way there...

Larkyn is still not quite sure about animals, but enjoyed "watching" the petting zoo!
There was a pony, goats, and two turtles today.

This year wasn't all that different from last year as far as the petting zoo.  Just sitting back and observing!

Daddy and Larkyn as Pumpkins!

Dracula Larkyn, Ghost Holly, and Witch Nicole

Still the cutest pumpkin in the patch!!!

Hug the pumpkins...

Larkyn LOVES painting "pretties".
She enjoyed painting a pumpkin, but we are pretty sure she enjoyed watching all the other kids paint more...

Larkyn liked using yellow, green and blue the most.
Go Brewers and Packers!!!

Larkyn also went pumpkin bowling with Daddy.

Way to knock down those squash Larkyn!

Larkyn pretty much led us through the straw maze herself.  It was fun to follow her!  Though we tried to get her to go down some dead ends too!

"Whoops! Dead End Mama and Dada!"

Riding the cart with Daddy.  Off to get some mum's and new gardening gloves!

We also had a great time playing outdoors and getting some work done outside around the house.  Larkyn liked trying on Mama's gardening gloved even though she now has her own!

What a worker!

"I'm going to give you a kiss Mr. Pumpkin!"

Kissing the "Daddy" Pumpkin for good luck!

What a difference a year makes!  Our Larkyn Kate is so grown up...

After a hard day at work, Mama gets to drive the "princess" around in the tractor wagon!
