Halloween 2011

Happy Halloween!  

Larkyn began her Halloween night cutting out jello jigglers.  She wasn't quite sure about them at first, but figured them out eventually.  After jigglers, we had some chili and cornbread and got our Minnie Mouse ready for Trick-or-Treating.  

After she was all ready to go we skyped with some family members to say "Happy Halloween"!

She loved her costume, all but the black dot on her nose.  I had to put the black paint on my finger and pretend I was wiping something off of her nose to get it on!

We met up with the neighbors for pictures before heading out with everyone.

Larkyn was very polite.  She was able to say "Trick or Treat" and always said "Thanks".

HallZOOween 2011

"I'm all ready to go Mama!"

 

We joined Luke and Katie at the Zoo for HallZOOween.  Minnie and her friend Monkey enjoyed seeing the animals and filling their goodie bags.

Not that far through and already tired...

The dolphins are back!

The zoo sets up little table stations to hand out Halloween trinkets for kids.  There are treats, crafts, game and more for the kids to enjoy.

Larkyn went through her bag as soon as she got home to find her pumpkin deck of cards, pumpkin pencil, pumpkin eraser, some stickers and a coloring book!

Go Packers...

Shea and I took off Sunday morning for Green Bay to watch the Packers play the Rams.  Larkyn would have loved to come with us I'm sure, but she got to stay at Janny and Charlie's and play with Breally, Cayden and May May.  

We met up with Ryan and Deanne before the game for some tailgating.  

We had a beautiful day for a football game...especially at Lambeau Field.

We had a great "date" day and enjoyed the Packer win!

A Fall Visit to Rapids...

We went back to Rapids to watch Cayden's flag football team, spend time with family, and head over to Green Bay for the Packer game on Sunday.  It was a cool October morning, but we enjoyed watching Cayden play all over the field.   He had a great touchdown run and made some great defensive plays.

 

Larkyn enjoyed playing near the play structure with the other kids, though she does like football.

Larkyn was sporting Cayden's old Badger jacket for the game.  Kinda old school, but went well with her Bucky hat!

After the game we did some yard work around Janny and Charlie's house.

Maisie brought her baby from her Child Development class over to Janny's.  Larkyn was very interested in the baby and wanted to be by her the whole time.

Breally and Cayden's sister Mara came over for a visit too.  Larkyn switched her interest from fake baby to real baby very quickly!
